About Us Ross & Sandra Ross & Sandra are local dancers from Brisbane, and have been dancing tango since 2000, studying Milonguero and Salon Tango. With their passion for Tango, they commenced teaching in January 2003. Ross & Sandra opened their Friends of Tango Dance School in July 2004 and celebrated the opening of the dance studio at Alexandra Hills in February 2005 Ross & Sandra have participated in many events throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Bueños Aires, organised by diverse communities, ethnic organisations and Tango Schools and performed in the Milongas of Bueños Aires. Ross & Sandra travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina yearly, where they update their knowledge in male & female styling techniques, Salon Tango, Milonguero, Milonga con Traspie and Vals. Ross & Sandra are dedicated to passing on the beauty and true spirit of Argentine Tango to the Tango Community here in Queensland. Sandra and Ross study under the teachings of Chiche & Marta, Fabrizio Forti and Marianna Dragone, Viviana Maceri, Elina Roldan, Aurora Lubiz, Jorge Firpo, Pablo Nievas & Valeria Zunino, Miguel & Augusto, Jorge Dispari & Maria "La Turca", Stella Barba, Gustavo Chidichimo & Virginia Martorani, . They have also studied under the teachings of Tete, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida, Roberto Herrera, Carlos & Maria Rivarola, Martin Boqueiro and Regina, and Gaston Valdes.
